- The process begins when you get in touch with A&B roofing. For a quote to clean your gutters, we usually charge by linear meter. This information can be gained from Google satellite view.
- Once we’ve worked out how many meters of guttering you have, we’ll have a quick look at street view to check for any access issues. Once we’ve got all the information we need, we’ll put a quote together and send it across to you via email.

Do you do commercial gutter cleaning?

Do you do high rise gutter cleaning?
Yes, we have gutter vac systems that’ll allow gutter cleaning up to 4 storeys. Where that isn’t sufficient, we use cherry pickers to gain access to the gutter line.

How long does it take to have your gutters cleaned?
Typically speaking, we would allow approximately an hour to carry out gutter cleaning on a standard sized domestic property. This can go up if the building has a complex shape or there are obstacles to go over, such as a conservatory.
Do you need to be in during the gutter cleaning?
Not usually, if there is a gate for access to the rear of the building, as long as that is left unlocked so we can get into your garden, you won’t need to be around.
What is involved in your gutter cleaning service?
We will remove all the debris from your guttering and ensure all downpipes are clear down to street level. Sometimes we can clear blockages below ground level, but that will need to be inspected on a case by case basis.
How much does it cost to clean your gutters?
Prices start at £85 for a standard domestic terraced property. Prices vary depending on how long your guttering is and if there are any complications with access.
How to tell if I need my gutters cleaned?
If you’re seeing water spilling over the edge of your guttering or you’re starting to get damp or mould where the edge of your ceiling meets and external wall, it’s highly likely you need your gutters cleaned.
How often do I need to get my gutters cleaned?
This usually depends on what your guttering is exposed to. If there are lots of bushes or trees hanging over your guttering, the frequency of gutter cleaning will be higher. It’s recommended to have the gutters cleaned at least once a year under normal conditions to ensure they’re not getting blocked.
Are rhones the same as gutters?
This is correct, in Scotland the term rhones is often interchanged with guttering. So when talking about guttering cleaning or rhone cleaning, it’s all the same thing.
